| Lynne Brabban is the Principal Photographer/Director of Signature Portrait Studios. Creativity and self-expression drive her to get up every day with a camera around her neck. Successful photography isn't simply a job for Lynne. Through it she has been exposed to many different realms of life experience. The ability to express herself through her work, is perhaps the biggest coup anyone could ever expect in a career.
Lynne has a Bachelor of Arts in Photography with over 20 years experience in many different artistic realms of photography. She has taken her talent across the globe and through the eyes of her cameras she is able to see things from a different perspective.
Being a mum herself to a very excitable toddler gives her an insight otherwise not attainable. For that reason, she keeps finding herself drawn towards maternity and baby photography, children’s photography, and family photography as well as engagement and wedding photography.
What drives Lynne is her intuition and passion combined with a love of exploring creativity, as well as an irrepressible interest in people and aesthetics. No matter how experienced she becomes in any field, she believes in the importance of continuing to grow and strive for artistic and technically striking images - no matter in what realm it may be. She is driven to always find that unique photo - to capture a one-off image or sentiment which she feels, needs to be recorded as part of a family history.
Lynne’s goal is to continue to explore the photographic medium in all of its aspects and to find her true realm within. She believes we always need to challenge ourselves in whichever ways we can. When asked which is her favourite image, her answer is “the one that I still want to create.” |
